VISION

The College of Business Administration envisions itself to be a center of excellence in business education producing graduates who are ethical, well-trained, and fully-equipped to join an environment characterized by globalization, shifting economic strengths, and rapid advances in information communication technology.


MISSION

The College of Business Administration assumes the responsibility of providing Business students with a well-balanced, relevant and responsive curricula with global dimensions that meet the needs and demands of the local and global workforce.

HISTORY AND PROFILE

In 1952, Dr. Jose P. Laurel founded the Lyceum of the Philippines and during the same year, also opened the School of Commerce headed by the illustrious Honorable Gil J. Puyat, former President of the Philippine Senate. The College was later expanded into the School of Economics and Business Administration. In 1976, it became the College of Business Administration.

The College graduated its first fifty-three graduates in 1955. They joined the public service and private sectors and established outstanding performance bringing honor and pride to Lyceum of the Philippines.

The College is proud of its record in producing topnotchers in the Certified Public Accountant Government Licensure Examination and the Customs Brokers Licensure Examination. It also takes pride in the outstanding performance of the students in national, regional and inter-school academic competitions.

In answer to the needs and demands of an environment characterized by increasing emphasis in globalization, shifting economic strengths, rapid advances in information technology and fierce competition, the College expanded its curricular offerings. All courses are computer-oriented and taught by highly qualified and competent faculty pool composed of Certified Public Accountants, licensed Customs Brokers, lawyers, masteral and doctoral degree holders. The College maintains a strong linkage with domestic and international professional organizations.

The College holds the PACU-COA Level II - Second Reaccredited Status in all BSBA Programs and Level I Accreditation for its BS/Accountancy course.
